• Please note that the pick-up time for your tour will depend on your location, please reconfirm your pick-up location and time, by calling call us at + 971 800 272 2426 or sending us a WhatsApp at +971 42748803 at least 24 hours before your booked excursion. Our customer support operational hours are 0700hrs to 2100hrs UAE time.
• Please ensure you are in the lobby at least 15 minutes before your pick-up time and inform the hotel concierge that you are waiting for an Arabian Adventures Tour or Safari.
Our team on the ground will not be able to contact you if you are unavailable at the pick-up point at the designated date and time.
• Valid voucher copy to be presented upon meeting your guide.
• Please be advised that only the English riding style is permitted. This means that riders must adhere to proper English riding techniques, including the use of an English saddle and reins held in both hands.
Note: Water will be loaded onto transport during Ramadan.
Consumption by clients is managed by the Tour Guide at an appropriate place where it will cause the least offense.

If your love for horses and horseback riding is as deep as your love for adventure and the great outdoors, this is the perfect experience for you. Immerse yourself in the beauty and tranquillity of the Arabian Desert as you ride across the endless red dunes on a majestic horse.
The adventure begins as our highly experienced and equally entertaining safari guide picks you up from your hotel in a shared vehicle. As you’re whisked off to the desert, listen to exciting stories and fascinating facts about the UAE, told by your knowledgeable driver.
Once you’ve reached the desert, you will be given a safety briefing at Al Maha stables along with relevant protective equipment. You will then meet your horse, ready to take you on an unforgettable ride across the beautiful sand dunes.
The hour-long ride includes a walk, trot, or canter, depending on your comfort level. You'll be able to take in the picturesque views and spot local wildlife along the way. Don't forget to snap some photos during the photo stop to capture the incredible scenery and cherish the memories forever.
After you make your way to the spectacular restaurant at the luxurious Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa, you will be served a delicious breakfast including a wide variety of cold cuts served buffet style, as well as a great selection of warm dishes available for order a la carte. The tour also includes soft drinks and water to keep you refreshed.
Once you feel relaxed and refuelled, hop on your majestic ride and head back to the stables where you will return the safety gear. Our driver will meet you there to take you back to your hotel in the city.
Know before you go
• Please be advised that this tour is suitable only for experienced riders, with a minimum of three years of riding experience.
• The weight of the rider cannot exceed 85kg
• Minimum age requirement is 12 years
• Jeans/ riding pants and riding boots are required
• If you have heart ailments, neck or back problems, participation is not recommended
• Arabian Adventures shall verify the guest’s horse-riding experience and weight before proceeding with the excursion
• The start time of the experience is dependent on the season, in order to ensure that guests can enjoy a beautiful desert sunrise or sunset during their ride
• Guests will be provided with all required personal protective equipment along with a full safety briefing once they arrive at the Al Maha stables
• All guests will be required to complete the Al Maha Activity indemnity form along with the horse-riding questionnaire
• Bookings are limited to a maximum of four people per excursion
